Center for Diplomacy Touts The Voluntourist

The U.S. Center for Citizen Diplomacy praises The Voluntourist in a new blog post, calling the book “Funny, touching, insightful and compelling…a story suitable for any global citizen of any age.”

The blog examines not only the book, but how money from The Voluntourist is being used to benefit the places and organizations where Ken Budd volunteered around the world.

Based in Des Moines, Iowa, the USCCD “promotes and expands opportunities for all Americans to be citizen diplomats and affirms the indispensable value of citizen involvement in foreign relations.”
