The Voluntourist Included on “Best Books” List

What does Ken Budd have in common with Bill Bryson, Jane Goodall, and Nicholas D. Kristof? Their works are all featured in a list of the best books to read before volunteering abroad, compiled by GoOverseas.com—which calls The Voluntourist a “hilarious and honest tale.”

The Voluntourist tells the story of Ken’s search for meaning as a short-term volunteer in New Orleans, Costa Rica, China (right), Ecuador, Palestine, and Kenya.
